What is flower essence therapy?

Flower therapy is a form of alternative healing that is achieved through the use of vibration medication. This unique practice is designed to treat the body with energy to create balance and has been used for many years. It is especially popular in Chinese medicine. Vibration medicine is believed to affect both cell health and emotional well-being.

Flower essences can be used alone or with other healing methods, depending on the specific problem and the practitioner. Essences are infusions made from flowers and water. It is important to note that flower essences are not the same as herbal tinctures or essential oils, which are usually intended to cure physical ailments. The essence is usually odorless, unlike the perfume-like aroma of most essential oils.

Unlike other herbal medicines, flower essences do not contain any chemicals. These diluted preparations contain only the addition of brandy, which helps to stabilize the solution. Best described as liquid energy. Florist therapy simply captures the energy pattern or vibration of the flower it comes from.

Energy is the basis of flower therapy. All living organisms exhibit some form of energy, whether physical, emotional or spiritual. Specific flower essences can be targeted to work with these forms of energy. Instead of attacking a particular disease or other physical problem, flower essence therapy is believed to work by restoring the energy balance in the body.

Traditional Chinese medicine recognizes energy movement in the body as chi or qi. Eastern traditions believe that the chakra plays a role in moving energy through the body. When all the energy in the body is in balance, a feeling of overall well-being is created - regardless of which traditional style is used. When practicing flower essence therapy, the only factor to take into account is the individuality of the users, as no two people are alike. The essence must always be adapted to the individual's energetic plan.

Flower interest therapy works by taking the flower on a particular plant, capturing its innate energy and then storing it for later use. Picked shortly after the flower, the flowers float in a bowl of spring water to capture its essence. Generally, this is left to "charge" in the sun for several hours. The plant's vibrational footprint is then transferred to the water. The flowers are then lifted out and the liquid, or essence, is poured into bottles of the same size of cognac, which act as a preservative.

When the essence of the flower is ready, it is stored for later use. Flower essences can be used in different ways to restore one's balance and vitality. The majority of people who use floral therapy take them orally with tea, water or juice. They can also be rubbed on the skin, e.g. wrist or forehead.

In addition, the flower essence can be placed in a spray bottle and dropped on the body, clothes or even in a room. Some people prefer to add a few drops to bath water, lotions, body oils or creams. Flower essence therapy is safe to use and a great way to restore emotional well-being and overall health.
