 Stinging nettle - Urtica Dioica

Nettle contains up to 60% chlorophyll and in addition vitamins and minerals, which makes it a generally strengthening and stimulating herb for the whole body. It may sound a little unpleasant to use the burning herb for the skin, but as soon as you crush or heat the leaves, they no longer stick. The nettle stimulates blood circulation and is astringent. It is good for cleansing, especially for oily or impure skin. Feel free to drink nettle infusion - it gives strong nails, clear eyes and beautiful hair!

 Nettle threat

Beauty comes from within! A small drink of nettles and lemon that cleanses the body from the inside and is a real powerhouse that makes you feel good. You really feel how spring radiates in your body.

1 dl freshly picked nettles

1 dl freshly picked cherry bowl

1 dl water

1 teaspoon honey

1-2 tablespoons lemon juice

½ teaspoon fresh, grated ginger

Dandelion oil

If you feel a little out of the thread, worried or sad, the dandelion can help dissolve tension in muscles and tissues. Use the oil as it is, as a cleansing oil for the face or as an ingredient in ointments and creams.

2½ dl freshly picked dandelion flowers

5 dl olive oil or other cold-pressed vegetable oil with good shelf life

Pick the flowers on a sunny morning in dry weather. Roughly chop the herbs. Put them in a clean and dry glass jar. Slowly pour the oil over until the herbs are completely covered. It is important that no plant parts protrude, then they can start to rot. They usually sink to the bottom after a while, but for safety's sake stir them down with a clean spoon. The herb oil should stand and soak in a bright but not too hot window. A window with afternoon sun is good. Let stand for 3 weeks. Feel free to open the lid from time to time and check if the oil smells good.

Strain through a sieve cloth, squeeze out the cloth one more time and strain a second time. Pour into a clean bottle, put on a nice label and store in the dark and cool.

Herbal oils can also be made from many of the spring's other herbs, such as Groblad and Dew Cover.
